
Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance

Cost/Registration: $160. You must register in advance. Participants are required to attend 48 classes.

This class is an evidence-based fall prevention class, adapted mainly from a contemporary Tai Ji routine. The goal is to improve strength, balance, mobility and prevent falls in older adults. This program targets communitydwelling older adults with a history of falls, balance problems, leg muscle weakness, and walking difficulty. This is a group class.
Participants will be asked to complete an initial balance assessment. The assessments are being offered 3/25 and 4/11 at 12:15pm.
